Using Zoom to Better Understand Your Event, During and After a Pandemic

While everyone has been quarantined due to COVID-19, we are all finding new ways to communicate and continue running a business. If you haven't heard of it before the pandemic, you have probably heard of Zoom by now. It's a video conferencing system that many have been using even more now that so many people are working from their home offices.

So we thought we would give Zoom a try to see how we could use it to help run our business, both during the shelter-in-place order, and beyond. After giving it a try, we thought it was a great way to check in with each other so we can continue working from home while still being able to collaborate during this time of social distancing. But beyond our internal use, we thought it could be a good tool to communicate with clients and our partners.

First of all, it's a more personal form of communication than text, email, or phone calls, and can make it easier to talk and get to know the person. Seeing that person speak and the body language can help form a better understanding. Secondly, it is very simple to share screens and other apps between users. It's a great tool because it can make an explanation easier by quickly demonstrating it via your computer screens. There is also a drawing tool in Zoom that allows us to draw diagrams and layouts in real time and make it interactive by sharing screens. These are just a few of the tools that can really help us provide the best possible service specific to your event by helping us get a better understanding.

And best of all, it's free! We can set up meetings in advance, or on the spot. Even with a free account, we can still have many users all included in a single call. It is great for video conferencing, webinars, audio communications, chats, and more, using either your phone or a computer.
