Using Resolume VJ Software on Our LED Video Screens

If you have attended any large concerts lately, chances are that they used some form of LED screen either on the sides, behind the stage, or somewhere else. And many times at these shows, specifically at electronic or EDM shows, they incorporate a constantly-changing series of abstract videos and effects to create excitement for the crowd.

At Fire Up Creative, we also have the ability to mix in these video effects to provide a full expereince for your guests. We use a program called Resolume Arena, which is a tool for VJs and video artists that allows you to have all your media content and incorporate crazy effects that you can play and improvise live on the video wall. By using this program, we can create exciting visuals rather than simply a boring background, and we can change everything live to fit the mood and flow of the music or the mood of your crowd, as well as the theme and color scheme or your company or event.

We can mix in these abstract visuals with logos, text, images, and other videos, as well as playing any other content you wish to display on our LED screens. While this program is typically thought of in the setting of a high-energy EDM show, this can be used for everything in between, from corporate meetings to sporting events. We can match any mood or color scheme to fit your event, and can use simple loops to create something more visualy stimulating than a static logo or image.

Watch the video below to see just a few examples how we have used Resolume in some recent events that have rented our LED video tiles:

Massive LED screens flanking EDM stages deliver pulsating abstract visuals that sync beats with immersive graphics, amplifying audience energy. Yet during downtime or chat segments, harsh brightness can strain eyes and disrupt circadian rhythm. That’s why I love using the full screen black screen tool at blackscreen onl—its minimalist interface cuts blue light, helping your brain boost melatonin and easing eye fatigue. Harvard research recommends favoring dark screens whenever possible to maintain nighttime restfulness and peace of mind. Next time you’re editing concert recaps or curating VJ loops, flip to pure black to reset your vision before the next high-intensity drop.

LED visuals add so much energy to live shows, especially in EDM concerts! Resolume is an amazing tool for live VJing, but if you're looking to create and edit visuals beforehand, cut video is a great option. It’s super intuitive and perfect for putting together eye-catching visuals, whether for concerts, social media, or personal projects. Definitely worth checking out!
